The new club jerseys have arrived and are available in most sizes from the canteen.
It has come to the committees attention that some riders licenses have expired and although haven't been attending race meetings are continuing to attend gate practice on a Thursday night.
All riders attending gate practice and race meetings and in accordance with BMXA rules must show their license, failure to do so will mean no practice or racing until a valid license can be produced or verification can be substantiated by the club registrar.

Our next race meeting will be Interclub Round 7 on Saturday 7th August at Macarthur. Sign on from 1.00pm, racing at 2.00pm.
Please get there early if you need a license renewal or are a new member and would like to race as the paper work can be time consuming and cause a delay in starting.
Something else that can go along way to meetings starting on time is a few more helpers preparing the track, your help will be much appreciated.
Gate practice is on Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8.00pm at a cost of $2.00 per rider

Looking for some cross training???? Macarthur Collegians Cycling Club is one of the most progressive road racing clubs in NSW. Located in south-western Sydney the club has two racing locations, an out and back course at Menangle and a criterium circuit at Smeaton Grange near Narellan.
Macarthur BMX now have an old school (pre 1985 bikes) division at selected clubby's. We have already held several rounds with full gates of under & over 40 divisions as well as a Junior division. To race in the old school division you have to have a BMXA license which you can obtain through the club and have a trackworthy pre 1985 bike. This can only be a positive for BMX as it will attract new and not so new members and support for the club.
Track maintenance before we start racing is important to the safety of all our riders and attracting other clubs to ride at our track. If you can spare an hour or two before the race meetings to get some track work done it will be much appreciated. With only the few guys that do turn up early every meeting we cannot expect race meetings to start on time and therefore finishing later, nobody wants to stay any longer on a Saturday night than they have to.
